The story
The product
Eventas runs event operations for multiple organizations on one platform: teams, vendors, sponsors, tasks and the deadlines that tie them together.
The backend
I built the backend with FastAPI and PostgreSQL, with dynamic role-based access control and custom permissions so each organization decides who can see and change what. Team management and vendor and sponsor modules sit on top.
The AI assistant
A chatbot built with LangGraph automates reminders, workflows, task management and progress tracking, so organizers can manage the event by asking instead of clicking through screens.
What made it hard

Permissions per tenant
Dynamic RBAC with custom permissions, so every organization can define its own roles without code changes.

An assistant that does real work
Using LangGraph so the chatbot can run multi-step workflows such as reminders and task updates, not just answer questions.
